Reservations & Deposits
A one night’s deposit plus tax is required for daily reservations and a $500.00 deposit is required for a reservation of one week. A deposit guarantees that we hold the room requested for the entire period reserved. The Starlight accepts Visa, Master Card, American Express, Discover, Traveler’s Checks, Money Orders, and personal checks for the deposit. Personal checks must reach us 21 days prior to the arrival date. A fee of $35.00 will be charged for any returned check. Deposits can be mailed, taken over the phone, or made through our secure online credit card reservation form. Reservations may not be shortened upon or after arrival.
Due to our size, cancellations affect us significantly, therefore, we adhere to a strict cancellation policy. Cancellations made at least 21 days prior to arrival will result in a refund of the deposit minus a $100.00 non-refundable administration fee. If your reservation is cancelled between 20-14 days of arrival, we will gladly move your deposit to new dates. If your reservation is cancelled inside the 14 days of arrival, your deposit will be forfeited.
Inclement Weather Cancellations and/or Early Departure are neither refundable nor transferable to any other date.
Visa, Master Card, American Express, Discover, Traveler’s Checks, Money Orders, or cash are accepted. No personal checks are accepted upon arrival.
Security Deposits are Required - Non-Smoking Facility/Key Deposit/Luxury Suite Towels
A $300.00 credit card imprint will be required upon arrival and act as the security for our non-smoking rooms, key and towel deposit. Violation of the non-smoking policy would result in the charge of $300.00 to your account. A $25.00 fee will be imposed for any lost key and charged to your account. Towels that need to be replenished upon departure will result in a charge to your account.

Check-in: 2:00 P.M. Tuesday-Friday & 4:00 P.M. Saturday-Monday
Check-out: 11:00 A.M. Daily
Smoking is not permitted in any of our guest rooms. If this policy is violated, a $300.00 cleaning fee will apply.
The Starlight has one assigned numbered parking space per room. Accurate license plate numbers must be registered upon arrival and ALL VEHICLES must display The Starlight Parking Pass on the inside dashboard. Units that utilize a double space must move their car forward and leave keys at front desk. Desk manager will move car when necessary. It is imperative that keys be left at front desk if parked behind another vehicle. Vehicles will be towed at owner’s expense if left on premises and not registered with the front office. All vehicles must be removed at time of checkout.
All occupants must be over the age of 21 years old to occupy or reserve a room, does not apply to families with children.
The Starlight reserves the right to refuse service to anyone and also reserves the right to require a security deposit upon arrival.
The units, luxury suites, pool, and property are for the use of registered guests only.
The Starlight will not be held responsible for lost, forgotten or broken personal property or damages to parked vehicles. The Starlight shall have no responsibility or liability for failure to supply any service when prevented from doing so by any cause beyond our control such as utility action, government action, equipment malfunction, labor action, or act of God. The Starlight reserves the right to refuse service to anyone. The Starlight will not be held responsible for injury/accident, loss of money, jewelry or personal possessions or for any occurrence that is beyond the control of The Starlight. The occupants are responsible for any damage caused to the room or the property by the occupants or guests and/or visitors during the period of the occupancy. Neither the occupants or their guests, or their heirs, assigns or legal representatives will sue or make claims of any kind whatsoever against The Starlight or its owners, employees, representatives for any personal injury, property damage, loss or wrongful death, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.
Online Computer Error - Weekends in July and August require a 3 night minimum stay and Memorial Day, Fourth of July and Labor Day weekends require a 3 or 4 night minimum stay. If an online reservation is accepted through a computer error for less than the minimum stay, the Starlight reserves the right to cancel the reservation. The Starlight also reserves the right to cancel the reservation if a computer error occurs regarding the price charged when booking an online reservation.
